Rocks on I Played the Role of the Adopted Daughter Too Well
The setting and plot are above average, and the reader is extremely astute. She knows exactly what to say or do; she is cunning and manipulative. She didn't even realize she was intelligent.
People around her are constantly misinterpreting her actions; for example, when she does something good, it appears that she has evil intentions.(Well its true though but anyways)
The artwork is fantastic! I expected it to change and become sh**, but it continued to shine like gold. The family is similar to Agriche's family, but with a more pg artstyle.

Hello! May I interest you in a good ol' documentary from National Geographic? Oh for heaven's sake, young man! You've read enough trash as it is! It's time to nurture your education! Here, watch it.
Mmmh? What do you mean "This is historical romance"? It is not. No, it isn't. Look, let's check together; this one has:

Mmmh? What do you mean "This is historical romance"? It is not. No, it isn't. Look, let's check together; this one has:
1) real footage from the Wilderness of a murderous lion and his cub thriving in their natural habitat.
2) plenty of meat (specifically, pectoral and abdominal muscles)
3) Unspeakable violence and untold savagery (verbal and otherwise)
See? Idiot. You never trust me. Now SILENCE. Listen to me. It's great. The art is good enough, surely it has a particular artstyle, but what truly shines here is the characterization. Whoever is behind it decided to fücking distillate the last 10 years of omnicomprehensive research in the field of Daddy Issues™️ into one manga. It is göddamn precise. Their bond is terribly, inconceivably tight. A ruthless, childish bas**** and a stubborn, perverted little freak. They are a match made in a Child Protective Services' bureau.
Few parent-child dynamics are this hilarious, and even fewer are this well written. Even her transmigration is handled supremely well. There is not ONE aspect of the characterization I would change. We even get a nice step mom, if only after having perfectly developed their relationship, what more could you possibly want?
So yeah. From the character interactions to the most important plot moments, it maintains high stakes, high emotional depth and incredibly funny comedic timings. "my new tsundere daddy" tropes notoriously suffer from realism problems, but not here. Not this one.
It could use a little of acceleration on the main plot's pace, but if you want sugar daddy sheaningans (yes I'm using it this way you are powerless to stop me) this one is a pro at it. 5 stars and a GAI (Grand Accolade of Ivern).
