Meh on Raising Villains the Right Way
As I keep reading this, I can see some similarities to Overlord, especially in how the Five Sins act toward the MC and their overall dynamic. It’s not heavily inspired or anything, I just notice the resemblance here and there. It’s not a bad thing, just something that stood out to me.
One thing I really hate is that the author didn’t properly show how he saved the Five Sins. That part feels rushed and skipped over. The story would’ve been way better if those moments were actually laid out properly, even if they were short. As long as it was clearly shown and built up, it would’ve added more weight to their loyalty and connection to the MC.
I’m currently at the latest chapter, which is 24, and even the backstories aren’t properly laid out. It feels incomplete, and that’s honestly disappointing because I actually really like this manhwa. There’s clear potential here, but the pacing is way too fast. By the time I reached chapter 9, it already felt like I had read 40 chapters. It’s not overwhelming, it just skips a lot of important moments that should’ve been shown instead of glossed over.
Is it still worth reading? Yes. But just don’t expect too much. It’s enjoyable, but the rushed pacing and lack of proper setup hold it back from being something really great.

This isn't a typical rofan or otome isekai type deal. These two characters are not each others one and only true loves. This is much more of a character study on FL than it is a romance. But it's good.
