Sigrid
女騎士シグリドの回帰 / 希格莉德 / 西格莉德 / 시그리드
She always lived by the rules. She thought her life had been honorable. She was loyal to the emperor, even at the cost of her life. But the only thing she got in return was the blade of the guillotine. Why? Why is it like this? She kept asking this before her death. However, when she opened her eyes, she had returned to 5 years before she died. "Was the way I lived wrong?", she kept thinking. Sigrid decided to change her way of life. What to eat, what to wear, what to buy, everything. The way she changed led her to be the center of everything. Although, everything eventually started to go back to the way it was. And so, Sigrid comes face-to-face with her old rival and enemy, Veramud. "It begins by making friends."
This manhwa deserves all the love and attention cause it's so freaking cool, cute as well as really realistic. From the moment I started reading this Manhwa I really loved sigrid all cause of her confidence as well as in accepting her own mistakes and correcting them, it's not every time we get to see a Manhwa that's so different but also not too different. Thé Fl is practical and a fl like that is hard to come by, the scenario's are really handled well and there's not much drama, although I hate love triangle cause they are so unrealisticly portrayed, this one is like a real life story no bullshiting around and no beating around the bushes, although I love stories like that.
Anyways I'm thankful that I'm reading it since the season 3 has started if not I would've really died out of curiosity as well as murder intent seeing how the season 1 and 2 ended i really feel it for those who had wait near that deadly cliffhanger
5/5.
Very good story, the female lead is very consistent in her character, an has a grounded realistic feel to her. She has some of the most realistic reactions to what happened to her and what's going on around her, and shows true strength of character. The art is good, translation is good. There's a lack of romance but you can tell it will eventually have some, but I don't see that as a negative for this story. I very recommended read from me.

As of this moment, every character is fleshed out AND experiences character development on top of it.
Not one of these characters is underutilized, overdone, or bland.
Plotwise, this entire story is about MC's character arc which is entirely about discovering her individual identity and self-worth, in an unbonoxious "hollywood sociopolitical" way. She was alwasy a stong, independant woman, but instead of being a bossgirl, she was so rigid that this physical strength lead to her own downfall.
In her second chance she realizes that mental and emotional strength, as well as strong bonds between friends are just as, if not more important and being the best swordswoman.
It is a truly captivating read in terms of story, art, and meaning.
